Sharing God’s Love Locally and Globally
Basehor United Methodist Church is a vibrant and growing community devoted to growing in God’s love and sharing it with others. The church is involved in local ministries such as Bridges of Hope which provides a hot monthly meal in partnership with Central UMC in KCK.
We are also working with the local school district by providing a meal during an after-school program focused on helping high school students graduate who has had difficulty in the traditional classroom.
The 2019 Christmas Eve offering went towards classroom grants which totaled $4200 and had a direct impact on 1,656 students in USD 458 this year.
In October 2019, we packaged over 20,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger. These meals went across the globe to help feed those in need.
We are always looking for ways in which we can share the love of God with our community and the world.
